Wiki

You can visit this server's wiki, where you can read or request programming and system administration guides, and read some jokes here.

Senior Design Project on Gentoo Linux for Columbia University.

The senior design project was a collaboration of four students. We tried to find ways that Gentoo Linux reduce the number of unmaintained package requests. You can find our source code here. Our sources contain a simulation with inputable parameters. A data-collection script for the simulation. And a revamped tsk clone called maint.
I will have Internet-browsable sources up at some point.
If you want to run the data-collection script, please be aware that it is very bandwidth intensive on Gentoo's servers. Also be aware that the script will utilize at least four giga-bytes of your hard-drive space and will not remove its generated files automatically.

Tsk: Google Summer of Code 2007 Project for Gentoo Linux

I am working on tsk, a web interface that helps users and developers prioritize a list of tasks (see my proposal here).
It is under heavy development at the moment, but is mature enough for people to play around with here.
If you want to check up on what is going on with the actual code you have two options:
The first is to visit this page.
The second is to check the code out using svn:
svn co svn://anon@afalko.net/maint maint

Please submit any bugs you find or feature requests to my bugzilla repository or send me an email to andrey [at] afalko [dot] homelinux [dot] net.

If you would like to help out, please visit my post in the Gentoo forums. You will find there a usability test.

Vestigium and Thesis Project

Vestigium is a package manager that I have worked on for my thesis project.
It's git is here.
It's bug tracker is here.
My thesis project is here. You can read the thesis here (it takes some time to download it).

Progmark

Progmark is a benchmarking application designed to automate the process of benchmarking code with different compile and run options. Progmark is designed to also automate the process of creating results by outputting TeX or HTML formatted charts.
At present, I am still in the process of putting my ideas into code. You can see by progress in the mean time here.

Battleworms

Battleworms is a simple video game, written in C, whose sourcecode my friend and I have been playing around with.
It's git is here.
You can visit its original pages here.
I shall have downloadable packages of our modifications soon.
